The Good Cat stole much of the limelight with patrons eager to take a gander at this electric vehicle (EV) in hatchback form, regardless of the stormy weather, early morning road closures and the current LRT disruption.
The official word from the company is that the Good Cat will be offered in just two variants for choice with its launch date scheduled for just before the end of November.
At present, the Good Cat has experienced enormous support from patrons following a test drive session.
Within the confines of Hall 4 head echoed predominantly of how immediate the Good Cat’s throttle felt to lend it a nimble and exhilarating feel, among others, which included whispers of a quality build, attractive styling and a surprising amount of spaciousness.
Many have now decided to hop onto the EV bandwagon with expectations the Good Cat could be priced around the RM150,000 range.
Hall 4 is where big brand names are currently housed, including Ford, Great Wall Motor, Hyundai, KIA, Mazda, Perodua, Peugeot, Subaru and Volvo.
Hall 2 has been dedicated to the International Automodified (IAM) 2022 Show which opened its doors to patrons today. It currently showcases over 100 personalised and modified vehicles of Japanese and Continental origins as well as multi-purpose vehicles and subcompacts which have been purposely decked out to impress, awe and even shock … just for the coveted King of IAM title.
The MME 2022 event is an automotive ‘sales carnival’ weekend being held from Nov 11 to 13. It will not just include the IAM 2022 (Nov 12-13) show, but also other exciting events such as HINSound&Style, live-on-stage DJ Hunt performances, R/C exhibition, Miss Malaysia Motor Expo photo-hunt and test drive sessions.
Organised by MME, the event is exclusively sponsored by Petron as the Official Fuel Partner, Grantt Lubricants as the Official Lubricant Partner and Shopee as the Official e-Commerce Partner.
Tickets are currently available for on-ground purchase during the event at RM20 per adult. Children of ages 12 and under enter free but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Selected lucky MME patrons will stand a chance to win a Petron fuel voucher worth RM100 by taking part in a simple questionnaire during the three-day event.
The RM100 fuel voucher will be credited to the winner’s new/existing Petron Value Card app that’s available for download for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The show’s activities were suspended for more than two years, due to the Covid-19 global pandemic, and along with its resumption, the organisers were able to secure an exclusive endorsement from Malaysia Automotive Robotics and Internet of Things (MARii) – an automotive-focussed agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
