Goodyear Malaysia expanded its Assurance tyre portfolio with its ComfortTred tyre – now available at Goodyear Autocare and participating Goodyear stores.
The Assurance ComfortTred, customised specifically for luxury passenger cars, has been priced from RM420 to RM860 with 12 sizes for choice and is manufactured in the company’s facility in China.
Enhanced with the company’s Advance Noise-cancelling (ANX) technology, it is touted to deliver a quieter experience for comfort.
The tyre features a closed tyre pattern design helping to reduce ‘air pumping’ noise while its high number of smaller tread aid in lowering impact forces to further reduce noise.
Along with a new tread design, the tyre is touted to provide shortened braking distances, especially in the wet, from “the first mile to the last”.
The tread also boasts a high amount of silica and resin compound for added traction, road contact and water evacuation.
Size availability starts from 16-inches (215/55 and 215/60) followed by 17-inches (215/50, 215/55, 225/45, 225/50, 225/55 and 245/45), 18-inches (225/45, 235/45, 245/45) and 19-inch (245/45).
“We believe that the new Assurance ComfortTred is a true comfort provider that enables the vehicle to become a quiet space for the riders to recharge themselves, gathering their thoughts and sharing moments with people they cherish,” said Goodyear Malaysia managing director Alex Ng.
Ng also said next year (2023) the company will provide an exciting range of products that will further expand its Assurance range.
