Bermaz Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Peugeot in Malaysia, has provided a preview of its Landtrek mid-sized pickup truck.

With the advent of the Landtrek, it marks the first pickup truck from the French carmaker to enter Malaysia and with the order books officially opened, this dual-cab pickup could cost an estimated RM123,000.

The Landtrek is touted to offer ruggedness and adaptability for professionals and families with its state-of-the-art onboard technologies that get accompanied by an SUV-like driving behaviour.

Along with LED headlights, a 10-inch high-definition screen and the ability to fit three at the rear comfortably, this double-cab pickup is powered by a 1.9-litre turbodiesel engine producing 150hp and 350Nm of torque and is managed by a six-speed automatic transmission.
