Chery Malaysia has introduced a range of enhanced vehicle after-sales care programmes for its Omoda 5 compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) and Tiggo 8 Pro mid-sized SUV.
The China-based carmaker said it is focused on delivering exceptional service and building customer relations to elevate ownership experience through such programmes by providing a comprehensive set of initiatives specifically catered to Malaysians.

In addition to its seven-year Vehicle Warranty & Maintenance Guidelines, both vehicles are provided with a five-year free labour service plan that gives customers six complimentary labour for every alternate service within the period while ensuring fully synthetic engine oils are used along with a list of recommended replacement parts.
Meanwhile, the company has also partnered with Etiqa (Insurance & Takaful), Allianz and Berjaya Sompo Insurance for its Chery Insurance Programme.
The insurance programme provides those who have signed up with an agreed value of up to 12 years, no betterment of up to 12 years, no excess charges for all listed drivers and a fast claim approval of up to RM20,000 among others.
Meanwhile, there are notable benefits such as 24/7 Roadside Assist with unlimited towing, limited special peril of up to RM20,000, key care cover of up to RM2,000, accident inconvenience allowance of up to 5 x RM50 and personal accident coverage of up to RM20,000.

The company also has an optional Extended Warranty Package (EWP) costing RM2,000 which covers the powerplant for 10 years or up to one million kilometres (whichever comes first).
In providing customers with a direct connection to the company, a dedicated Customer Careline has been established (since Aug 1) and operates from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 6.00pm (excluding public holidays).
The company also added it is committed to ensuring sufficient spare parts are available to minimise vehicle downtime with the help of Tiong Nam Logistics for warehousing and logistics.
