Chery Malaysia, in a statement, has announced the company has completed its pre-delivery inspection (PDI) for its current flagship – the Tiggo 8 Pro sports utility vehicle (SUV).
The China-based carmaker in Malaysia said its first batch of Tiggo 8 Pro SUVs that have rolled off its local assembly line in Kulim, Kedah, is ready to be delivered to customers.
The Tiggo 8 Pro is currently priced on-the-road without insurance at RM159,800 and comes with an industry-leading seven-year warranty which includes a five-year free service package.
As an optional extra, the company said the warranty can be extended to 10 years or one million kilometres (whichever comes first) for an added RM2,000.
The Tiggo 8 Pro is powered by a 256hp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with three driving modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100kph in 7.5 seconds.
Furthermore, it comes fitted with a galaxy-inspired front grille, panoramic sunroof, 24.6-inch Dual Display system and a host of Advanced Driver Aid Systems among others.
