This 2,423kg (kerb) Ranger Raptor is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,996cc) twin-turbo diesel engine that uses an 80-litre fuel tank to provide 210PS at 3,750rpm and 500Nm of torque from 1,750 to 2,000rpm.
Power is managed by a 10-speed automatic with SelectShift with paddle-shifters and an electronic shift-on-the-fly (ESOF) system for the 4WD system (4A / 2H / 4H / 4L) which happens to include seven drive modes of Normal, Sport, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, Sand, Baja and Rock.

As standard, the 2.0-litre Ranger Raptor comes fitted with that unmistakable Raptor Scheme for the front and rear bumpers and the Ford Block front grille that’s flanked by LED Matrix headlamps with automatic high beam and levelling as well as LEDs for the fog lights (front and rear) and rear combination lights.
The Raptor Scheme is also extended to the side steps while the scuff plates are from Ford Performance and it also comes with standard underbody protection, front and rear recovery hooks, an easy-lift tailgate, fender flares and rear bumper steps,

Inside, the Ebony Black cabin comes fitted with a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat (10-way manual for front passenger), assist handles for all doors, Raptor Scheme carpets and keyless entry with push-start button.

Four USB ports litter the cabin that includes a Type-C and Type-A up front as well as a Type-C and Type-A for the rear.

Based on feedback received, we know many Malaysian customers want a choice of engines and the 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo Diesel engine is a great addition to our lineup,” said SDAC Ford managing director Turse Zuhair.
