Redline Fitness Games Powered by Nissan, brand-new Nissan Almera available in lucky draw

Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) Sdn Bhd, the sales and marketing arm of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia, has partnered with Redline Fitness Games to bring about a fitness competition.

Dubbed ‘Redline Fitness Games powered by Nissan’, the inaugural fitness games look to attract local and international fitness enthusiasts.

Launched at The Curve shopping mall in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, the event announced an exciting grand lucky draw prize of a new Nissan Almera.

The event will take place at the Mines International Convention Centre from Sept 23 to 24 and is being heralded as the largest fitness competition ever held in the country with the aim of testing and measuring fitness levels.

Contestants will be put through a gruelling course of 12 workout stations which will include the Ski-erg, Agility Chamber, Sled Push and Dead Ball Burpees, among others, which will look to showcase a participant’s raw power, agility, strength and outright raw power.

Three Nissan Red Zone challenges will also be available for participants to test their cardiorespiratory and muscular endurance.

As part of the grand finale, the four strongest participants can also look forward to an adrenaline-fueled NISSAN Navara truck pull.

Participants can choose from a variety of thrilling categories including Men’s and Women’s Singles (open and competitive divisions), Doubles (Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles) and a Team Relay (Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed with two men and two women).

Tickets can be purchased at www.redlinefitnessgames.com with roadshows happening at:

  • Fitness First from July 29 to 30 (8.30am to 12.00pm)
  • Train by Blackbox, Subang Jaya from Aug 12 (8.30-12.00pm) to 13 (1.30pm to 4.30pm)
  • Toppen, Johor Baru, Main Atrium (Level 1) from Aug 17 to 21 (10.00am to 10.00pm)
  • District 13, Petaling Jaya, from Aug 26 to 27 (10.00am to 11.30pm)

“This event goes beyond just being a competition; it’s a transformative experience that will ignite a fire within participants, challenging them to push beyond their perceived limits and discover their personal Redline,” said Redline events director Callum Meehan.

Since having launched the event’s early bird tickets this month, Meehan said it saw a “phenomenal response” and is excited to be at the event, come September.

The event is supported by official radio partner Fly FM and hydration partner 100 Plus while the main partners consist of Fitness First, Celebrity Fitness, Chi Fitness, Optimum Nutrition, Aviron Racing, Concept 2 and Savage Gears.

Redline Fitness Games is a new functional fitness event brand that is owned and operated by Fresh Events Asia Sdn Bhd.

Touted as the ultimate fitness race for gym-goers and fitness enthusiasts, it was recently launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with plans for regional expansion across Southeast Asia from next year.

Fresh Events Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, also operates The Music Run and Powerman Malaysia.

In operation since 2014, the company is said to have hosted over 50 mass participation events in over 15 countries with over 500,000 participants.
